Our drinking water contains many substances that are not meant to be ingested. The quality of water differs from region to region, as do the substances found in it. Drinking water in the Netherlands has an average TDS value of between 100 and 250 PPM (parts per million). However, there are also places where the TDS value can be as high as 1100 PPM. There are too many heavy metals, pesticides, fertilisers and pfas in the water, polluting more than half of the 216 sources from which the Netherlands gets its drinking water. And these substances are not always filtered out of the water before it comes out of the tap.
Distilled water or aqua dest is very pure water, from which all inorganic salts and organic substances have been removed by distillation. In addition, all waste products are no longer present after the distillation process. It is the purest form of water.
We use this distilled water ourselves, among other things, for the production of our colloidal products.
