Looking for the latest generation of ionic toothbrushes? The Soladey Rhythm 3 White from Meditech Europe combines ionic brushing with sonic vibration — and for the first time it recharges over USB-C.
With the Rhythm 3 you brush your teeth with ions. The built-in TiO2 semiconductor and the five solar panels — two more than on the Rhythm 2 — generate ions in daylight that loosen plaque. That means you don't need toothpaste: it is better for the environment, it saves you money on toothpaste and, more importantly, it means you don't need to take in fluoride. The powerful sonic movements clean teeth and gums thoroughly, while the ionic process tackles dirt, stains and plaque for a radiant smile.
Rechargeable instead of battery-powered
This is the biggest change from the Rhythm 2: the white Rhythm 3 runs on a built-in lithium-ion battery. After brushing you simply place the toothbrush on the supplied charging stand, which connects with the USB-C cable. One full charge lasts about 20 days — based on brushing twice a day for 3 minutes on the most powerful setting — and a full charge takes roughly 4 hours. No more buying and replacing AAA batteries.
Three sonic settings with memory function
Pick the intensity that suits your teeth: 18,000, 22,000 or 26,000 vibrations per minute. The Rhythm 3 remembers the setting you used last, so you don't have to select it again every time. The built-in timer stops the brush automatically after 3 minutes, so you always brush long enough. With IPX5 water resistance you can simply rinse the handle under the tap after use.
Every Soladey brush head fits
A major advantage of Soladey: the brush heads are interchangeable across the entire range. Every Soladey brush head therefore fits the Rhythm 3 as well — whether you choose 3-row or 4-row, in soft, medium, hard, tapered, honeycomb or star-shaped ultrafine. You are never locked into one type of brush head, and you can tailor your brushing routine precisely to your teeth, from gentle cleaning to deeper plaque removal.

Frequently asked questions about the Soladey Rhythm 3
What is the difference between the Soladey Rhythm 3 and the Rhythm 2?
The main difference is the power source: the Rhythm 3 has a built-in rechargeable battery and a charging stand with USB-C, whereas the Rhythm 2 runs on a AAA battery. The Rhythm 3 also has three brushing settings instead of two, five solar panels instead of three, and it remembers the setting you used last.
Which brush heads fit the Soladey Rhythm 3?
Every brush head in the Soladey range fits every Soladey toothbrush, including the Rhythm 3. You can switch freely between the 3-row and 4-row brush heads in soft, medium, hard, tapered, honeycomb and star-shaped ultrafine. And if you move to a different Soladey model later on, your brush heads remain usable.
Do I need toothpaste with the Soladey Rhythm 3?
No. The TiO2 semiconductor and the solar panels generate ions in daylight that loosen plaque, so brushing with water alone is enough. If you still prefer toothpaste, use a small amount of a non-foaming type.
What type of brush head does the Soladey Rhythm 3 have?
The Soladey Rhythm 3 is a sonic toothbrush with a vibrating brush head. Soladey electric toothbrushes use sonic vibration, whereby the brush moves from left to right at high speed. Soladey effectively removes plaque using photocatalysis and solar panels. When using the Soladey electric toothbrush, it is important to brush very slowly while allowing the sonic vibration to do its work.
What is the difference between this and other types of electric toothbrushes, such as Braun?
Braun (Oral-B) electric toothbrushes have their own unique high-speed rotating and vibrating technology. These rotating toothbrushes have a round, rotating brush head.
How long does the battery of the Soladey Rhythm 3 last?
Brushing twice a day for 3 minutes on the most powerful setting, a full charge lasts approximately 20 days. A full charge takes about 4 hours.
