Training & education by Ron Havenaar - the practical day at Meditech Europe
When you purchase the OPTIKA B-510DK through Meditech Europe, you can also register for a learning programme provided by Ron Havenaar, the Netherlands' most experienced specialist in dark field analysis. The course consists of two parts:
Practical training: learn how to optimally set up, focus and use the microscope. This is given at Meditech Europe.
Training in interpretation: discover how to assess blood images, recognise micro-organisms and gain insight into the biological field.
You can register for the practical day at our location (costs €50), which is provided by Ron Havenaar, and for the “Training in interpretation”, which is also provided online by Ron Havenaar.. Further information and costs can be found at https://intensivecareforyou.nl/Seminars/ or send an email to Cynthia: cynthia@meditecheurope.nl.

What is darkfield analysis?
Dark field microscopy is a unique method in which only scattered light becomes visible. This causes cells, bacteria, fungi and parasites to light up clearly against a black background – without staining. This makes it possible to observe living blood cells directly and to visually detect disturbances in the internal environment.
