Vitamin D3

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin. There are various forms of vitamin D, of which vitamin D3 is one of the most important. Vitamin D3 regulates the levels of calcium and phosphate in the blood by promoting their absorption from food. Indirectly, this vitamin ensures that your bones and teeth remain strong. However, scientific research has shown that vitamin D3 also supports the immune system.

Normally, your skin produces vitamin D3 itself. Oily fish, such as herring, mackerel and salmon, are also sources of vitamin D3. If you do not spend much time outdoors, do not expose your skin to the sun very often (e.g. during the winter months) or have a dark skin tone, then an extra intake of vitamin D3 may be beneficial. 

Highest bioavailability

Emulsan® is a unique method of providing fat-soluble vitamins – vitamins A, D, E and K – as a special microemulsion that corresponds to the structure of breast milk. This microemulsion form is absorbed directly in the mouth and enters the bloodstream entirely via the lymph. Emulsan® has the highest bioavailability of fat-soluble vitamins.

Traditionally, fat-soluble vitamins are offered as dry tablets or dissolved in oil. However, the disadvantage is that the bile system is necessary for the absorption of fats, which can be burdensome. Another disadvantage is that some of the vitamins are lost in the gastrointestinal tract due to the long journey they have to travel before being absorbed.

Emulsan® is absorbed through the lymph in the mouth. This guarantees optimal absorption. Even people with impaired liver function (e.g. due to infectious diseases and chronic inflammation) experience optimal absorption when using Emulsan®. Best-tasting vitamin D3

Composition

Per drop: 75 mg (3000 IU) vitamin D3.

Ingredients: pear extract, water, gum arabic, MCT oil, vitamin D3, potassium sorbate (0.2%), citric acid, natural vitamin E and citric acid ester.

This formula is hypoallergenic and suitable for vegetarians.

Dosage: Unless otherwise advised: 1 drop per day. Take one drop orally and let it dissolve in your mouth until the taste disappears, then swallow.

One package contains 240 drops of Emulsan D3. The recommended dosage is 1 drop per day. That means one package will last you over 6 months!
