Health benefits of vitamin A

Vitamin A is good for your eyesight, helping you to see clearly (in the dark). Vitamin A also helps to keep your skin healthy, contributes to normal iron metabolism and supports the immune system.

Optimal absorption

The emulsification process processes retinol (vitamin A) in such a way that the particle size of these substances corresponds to that in breast milk. Resorption therefore occurs in the same way as in an infant, i.e. independently of bile secretion. Due to optimal resorption, emulsion vitamins are more effective with less. A dosage of 26,000 units of vitamin A per day in tablet form is effectively equivalent to one drop of emulsion containing approximately 2,600 units per day. This is because only about 10% of the vitamins and minerals that enter the digestive tract with food are actually absorbed by the body. 

Composition

Per drop: 800 mg (2664 IU) vitamin A (retinol palmitate).

Ingredients: pear extract, water, gum arabic, vegetable oil (coconut oil), vitamin A (retinol palmitate), potassium sorbate (0.2%), citric acid, natural vitamin E and citric acid ester.

This formula is hypoallergenic and suitable for vegetarians.

Dosage

Unless otherwise advised: take 1-10 drops per day.

Not suitable in high doses during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
