Copper Lemniscate – Symbol of Harmony and Balance
The copper lemniscate is used energetically to allow energies to flow, to neutralise a space, and there are many other applications. Copper has been known for centuries for its unique properties, such as neutralising harmful radiation.
The copper lemniscate, as a symbol of infinity, is used, for example, to neutralise earth rays that can disrupt the energy in your home and garden. The copper lemniscate is said to capture the powerful earth rays and set them in perpetual motion, thereby reducing their strength. This creates more harmony. In addition, the lemniscate can be used to balance energy fields, for example in the bedroom or in workspaces. Many people place the copper lemniscate near electronic devices such as WiFi routers or computers, with the aim of reducing the influence of electrosmog. The lemniscate is also used in meditation and relaxation exercises. In the garden, the lemniscate can contribute to a healthy growing environment by harmonising disruptive energies in the soil. Some users carry a small lemniscate with them as a personal energetic aid to protect themselves from negative influences. Or simply use the copper lemniscate as a beautiful eye-catcher in your home: a powerful symbol that represents infinity, harmony and connection.
Craft
The lemniscate is handmade in India according to centuries-old traditions. Copper is part of Ayurveda, which is an integral part of life in India. Copper cannot be welded or soldered. That is why Indian culture chooses to finely weld connections in products using steel-based electrodes. These are made from an alloy of iron and tin. The addition of tin has an important influence here: tin strengthens the joints and makes copper more resistant to wear and deformation. In addition, tin in combination with copper creates a subtle energetic interaction. Whereas copper is known for its conductivity and harmonising effect, tin is often associated with softness and stability. Together they form a durable and balanced connection, making the lemniscate not only stronger, but also able to radiate extra balance and harmony. We have chosen to keep this as natural as possible, which means that these connections may be visible.
Polishing and cleaning copper
Copper has a natural tendency to discolour over time (oxidation). Copper reacts to air, humidity and contact with skin. Oxidation causes copper to discolour from its original bright orange-brown colour to a darker, less shiny shade. Outdoors, copper will weather due to acids and, over time, become darker in colour and even turn green (patina). These are natural properties that have no negative effect on the product. You can polish copper with a soft cloth or clean it with lemon juice, which will restore its beautiful red shine.
Hanging system
The large 42 cm copper lemniscate comes with a copper hanging system, so you can give the lemniscate a nice spot on the wall.
