Jolanda Kraaij is co-owner and managing director of Meditech Europe in Emmeloord, the Netherlands, and Marijn's wife. Her curiosity took her far beyond Europe. After more than fourteen years in the food industry, working with large customers at home and abroad, she knows that it starts with listening to what the customer needs, and then with what has to happen inside a company to make it work. At Meditech Europe she checks the product files, the CE and GPSR documentation and the user manuals. She manages the purchasing of our copper and grounding products, and she is the contact for therapists, practices and shops that would like to sell our products.

My destination is a customer who is happy with their product
In my twenties I was searching. What suits me? What makes me happy? What do I love? After my commercial studies and a period of travelling, I went into business. As a supply chain coordinator I bought beautiful products from faraway countries, and alongside that I trained in logistics. It suited me at the time.
The years went by, and I saw the warm contact my colleagues had with their customers, and the creativity that came out of it. Would that contact, thinking along with customers, make me happier? Yes! I moved to the commercial side of the food industry and completed a bachelor's programme in Sales & Account Management. A lot happened: customer visits abroad, product innovation, trade fairs, export and food safety audits (HACCP). That last part, the documentation that shows a product is safe, is something I use every day now.
The one thing I was still missing was the part I truly love. First of all, of course, that is my husband Marijn, with whom I run the company. But I also lost my heart to the products of Meditech Europe: products with a story, that make you curious and show you there is more. In 2022 I joined the company myself. This is where everything I learned along the way comes together.

Sales and reselling
Are you, like Jolanda, enthusiastic about our products, and would you like to offer them in your practice or shop? Jolanda will explain how it works. Laws and regulations
Jolanda makes sure our products meet the European rules that apply to them: the CE documentation of the Multiwave Oscillator, product safety (GPSR) for items such as the grounding mat, and the user manuals. Every CE user manual passes her desk before it goes on the website. Do you have a question about rules or documentation? She is happy to think along with you.
Purchasing projects
We keep learning and renewing. That is why we regularly add new products with meaning and look at how existing products can be better. Jolanda manages these projects with our makers in India, China, Germany and the United States, among others, from the first sample and the choice of materials to delivery in Emmeloord. Spread positivity with us
That is what drives our company. Every month we create a new card with an intention, which we add to the orders. Of course, positivity doesn't stop at a card. It's in a smile on the street, a listening ear and in products with meaning.

Transparency
Together with the other owners, Marijn, Rovin and Cynthia, Jolanda is responsible for honest and transparent information. We follow the European rules on health claims, as applied by EFSA, and make no medical claims. Our articles, blogs and user manuals are about what a product is, how it is made and how to use it. They never replace the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a doctor.
If you resell our products, you remain responsible for what you say about them and for the rules in your country. Jolanda is happy to think along, but does not give legal advice.
